Message From Head Age Group Coach Carrie Matheson
Welcome to the 2005-2006 swim season! My name is Carrie Matheson, I grew up and swam with the Powell River Porpoises from the age of 4 (but I hated putting my face in the water!). I have been coaching for the past 17 years, mostly within the BCSSA organization with clubs like Powell River, Nanaimo, Abbotsford and most recently North Vancouver; also I coached with the Vancouver Pacific Dolphins Swim Club. Last year I graduated from UBC with my Bachelor of Human Kinetics and this year I completed my Education degree at UBC as well. I am looking forward to putting what I have learned into practice on the pool deck. I am very excited to be working with the Campbell River Killer Whales, I have heard so much about you from Aaron and I am looking forward to meeting all of you over the next couple of weeks.
