Day 3 Preliminaries

Adriaan Kruger, in search for his very first AAA time in his life, finally reached his goal with a new AAA mark in the boys 200 meter backstroke. His time of 2:39.43 was better than the standard for 13 and 14 boys in BC and he will be joining the qualifiers from CRKW in Prince George in July.

In tonights final, Brock Hoyt will swim in the 15 and over boys 400 IM final, Marisa Gorjeu and Aven Preston will both swim in the 11 and 12 girls 100 meter freestyle and 100 meter butterfly final while Alec Page will join them in the 11 and 12 boys 100 meter butterfly final. Tyson Berkenstock and Andrea Gilbert will be swimming in the 200 meter backstroke final in 7th and 6th position respectively. The Killer Whales girls 11 and 12 relay team will be looking to match their record setting ways on Sunday night after breaking the 200 meter free relay by more than 7 seconds during Saturday nights finals.
