I wanted to send a quick update and a HUGE thank you to those who have been involved in getting swim suits to the Seychelles.
The response to our call for extra and/or old suits from the Canadian Swimming Community has been overwhelming. It is really amazing how easy it is to help and what a difference it can make. Thanks to all of you who parted with your favorite, old and extra swim suits! I have attached a few pictures of some of the girls from St. Elizabeths Orphange learning to swim. They are so keen to learn and were so proud to be wearing thier new suits at the pool yesterday! Many other youth in Seychelles have also benefitted from your donations. There is a still a huge need for suits both here in the Seychelles and in so many other places in the world, that my mom and I have decided to keep the "Suits for All" campaign on-going..... any suits and any sizes are welcome! We will continue to collect them at our houses and search for appropriate recipients/organizations around the world to send them to!
